Set Up Your Online Store and Make Your First Sale

Whether you're selling a physical product, a digital download, or a service package, Funnelly's store builder has everything you need to start taking payments today. Here's how to go from zero to first sale.

Add Your First Product

In your dashboard, go to Store → Products → + New Product. You'll need:

  • Product name and description — be specific. "Online Marketing Starter Kit" sells better than "Digital Bundle."
  • Price — you can offer a single price, or set up a sale price with the original crossed out
  • Product image — upload at least one image; products with images convert significantly better than those without
  • Inventory — set a stock level if you have limited units, or mark as unlimited for digital products
  • Delivery method — physical (requires shipping), digital download, or service

For digital products, you can upload the file directly in Funnelly. It's delivered automatically after payment — no manual fulfilment required.

Connect Your Payment Processor

Funnelly supports Stripe, PayPal, and several other processors. Go to Store → Settings → Payments and connect your preferred processor. If you don't have a Stripe account yet, you can create one for free — it takes about five minutes.

Once connected, all transactions go straight to your account. Funnelly doesn't take a cut of your sales beyond the monthly platform fee.

Set Up Your Store Page

Your store needs a home. In the Site Builder, you can add a store page and embed your product grid with a simple widget call. Choose a layout that suits your products — grid for visual products, list for services or info products.

Add a short headline, a trust statement (returns policy, security badge), and your product grid. Keep it clean. Customers buy when the path to checkout is obvious.

Test Before You Launch

Before sharing your store link, run a test transaction using Stripe's test card number (4242 4242 4242 4242). Confirm that the order confirmation email goes out, the download link works (if applicable), and the order appears in your dashboard.

Once you're satisfied everything works, share your store page. Post it in your social bio, send it to your email list, or embed a "Buy Now" button on any page of your site. Your first sale is closer than you think.
