Search engines send free traffic to websites that publish genuinely useful content. Social media amplifies it. Email keeps readers coming back. Content marketing compounds over time — the article you write today can send leads to your business for years.
The problem? Most entrepreneurs don't start because it feels like a big technical setup. With Funnelly's built-in blog, there's no setup. Here's how to go from zero to publishing in one afternoon.
Enable Your Blog
In your Funnelly dashboard, go to Publisher → Blogs. If you haven't enabled your blog yet, click Add Blog next to your site. Set your listing page path (we recommend simply blog), choose a layout, and save.
Your blog is now live at yoursite.com/blog. It shows all your published articles in a clean grid with category filtering and pagination — no design work required.
Write Your First Article
Go to Publisher → Articles → + New Article. You'll get a full-featured editor with rich text, image uploads, and a properties panel for setting the article's author, category, excerpt, featured image, and estimated reading time.
A few tips for your first article:
- Answer a real question your customers ask. "How do I..." articles rank well and establish trust.
- Write a strong excerpt — this shows on the listing page and on social previews. Make it count.
- Add a featured image — articles with images get significantly more clicks than those without.
- Set a category — this enables category filtering on your blog listing page, helping readers find related content.
When you're ready, set the status to Published and save. Your article is live immediately.
The Content Strategy That Actually Works
You don't need to publish every day. One high-quality, genuinely useful article per week is more effective than five mediocre ones. Focus on topics that sit at the intersection of what you know and what your customers are searching for.
A simple starting framework: write three articles in each category you care about, covering beginner, intermediate, and advanced perspectives. Nine articles gives your blog enough depth to feel authoritative, and enough variety that readers stay longer and explore further.
From Reader to Customer
Every article on your Funnelly site is an opportunity to convert readers. At the end of each post, include a relevant call to action — a link to a related course, a product recommendation, or an invitation to join your email list. Because your blog lives inside Funnelly alongside your store, your courses, and your automations, connecting content to conversion is straightforward.
Start writing. Publish your first article this week. The compound returns on content marketing are real — but only for the people who start.
